RCI is looking for a self-starting and thoughtful individual with a focus on data collection and analysis for our ticketing services team with an interest in and understanding of the Broadway theatrical landscape. An ideal candidate will thrive in being part of a busy general management office environment where daily tasks are regular and routine, but projects can appear at a moment’s notice. Ideal candidates should be professional and personable, efficient and detail-oriented, confident in client communication and presentation, able to adapt quickly to an ever-changing and fast-paced environment, enjoy finding solutions, have excellent computer skills and a strong interest in theatre.
Reporting to the Director of Ticketing Strategy, key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Analyzing sales data: Analyze ticket sales, identify trends and make pricing adjustments as needed to optimize revenue throughout the life cycle of each show.
- Developing pricing strategies: Create and implement pricing structures, including dynamic pricing, discounts, and promotions, based on demand, market trends, and competitor analysis.
- Collaborating cross-functionally: Work closely with the press, marketing, and sales teams to develop and execute campaigns and strategies aimed at boosting revenue.
- Reporting and forecasting: Provide daily and weekly reports and analysis to senior leadership on sales performance, revenue optimization efforts, and revenue forecasts.
- Identifying and implementing solutions: Find creative ways to achieve revenue targets and overcome challenges in the marketplace.
- Inventory management: Optimize seating configurations and ticket inventory to maximize sales and profitability.
Required skills and qualifications:
- Analytical skills: Strong ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions while being able to articulate expected industry patterns and identify outlying movement and competition within the marketplace.
- Ticketing system knowledge: Experience with and understanding of ticketing systems, preferably Tessitura, Shubert Ticketing, Seat Geek, and/or Ticketmaster.
- Communication and collaboration skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with various teams and stakeholders, including box office staff, press, advertising and marketing agencies, company management, general management, and producing teams. Additionally, must be able to confidently present key reporting and strategies to key stakeholders at in-person meetings.
- Problem-solving: Creative approach to identifying and solving revenue-related challenges.
- Strategic planning and execution: Ability to develop and implement effective strategies to achieve revenue goals.
- Attention to detail and organization: Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills for managing multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in relevant software: Expertise in Excel and potentially other business intelligence tools like Tableau.
- Experience in the entertainment industry: Ideally, prior experience in ticketing, revenue management, or sales analysis within the live entertainment industry (experience with Broadway is preferred).

Hours: In-office hours are Monday through Friday, 10 AM - 6 PM. Additional evening or weekend commitments may arise and will be addressed on a case-by-case basis.
